About the role

As a per diem Sterile Processing Technician, you keep surgical instruments clean, sterile and ready for every case on the shifts you choose. Per diem work gives you the flexibility to pick up shifts around your life while building experience with a respected hospital team.

What you’ll do

• Decontaminate, inspect and assemble surgical instrument trays
• Operate sterilizers and washers and document every load
• Track instruments and case carts for the OR schedule
• Follow infection-prevention and safety standards

Shift times available

• 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST
• 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST

Shift times include a 30-minute unpaid break. Your recruiter will share exact dates and help you book the shifts you want.

Requirements

• CRCST (HSPA) or CBSPD certification
• At least 1 year of hospital sterile processing experience
• Knowledge of instrument sets and sterilization methods
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and facility onboarding
