Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 24 hours/week

Job Description

JLK Global Staffing Solutions is hiring a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in St. Louis, Missouri. The OT will provide occupational therapy services to students and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• Deliver therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and established treatment plans.
• Evaluate students’ functional, developmental, and occupational therapy needs as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on student needs.
• Support students with fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills.
• Monitor student progress and document therapy services accurately.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school-based professionals.
• Provide recommendations and strategies to support students’ participation in the classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical and service documentation.
• Follow applicable school policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the educational team regarding student progress and therapy needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Missouri Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to practice.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
